However, I would convey the same information that the social worker does in the video regardless of a patient’s sexual orientation. I believe the primary difference in the conversation with a heterosexual female are the recommended forms of contraceptives.
Yes, I would agree with that regarding options for contraception for heterosexual female patients. I also think it would be important to ask the patient about what aspects of sexual health they perhaps have questions about, emphasizing that are questions are normal and common. This would also be independent of sexual orientation.
