Great information. Although I don’t disagree with the most appropriate answer for the case study I do feel the timing of education, information and decision making is a true balance that is hard for healthcare providers. At result appointments patients are overwhelmed and haven’t had a chance to let the diagnosis “sink in”. I struggle layer information on top of the diagnosis and particularly information that needs to be used to make a very important decision such as fertility preservation. I understand the urgency of starting treatment. This balance is one of the hardest parts of my role.
