Hello, I started to learn at the ECHO Program-Jan-2020

I hope to learn and share this learning experiences with other professionals.

    Thanks for the opportunity

    Hi Maria,

I am a physician assistant in Oncology and like you, I too look forward to learning about this topic for my patients.

I am a clinical social worker for a free-standing radiation oncology practice.  We are university affiliated but not directly connected with any of the local hospital systems, so don’t have automatic access to their resources and services.  The material in this course is most relevant to me in relation to fertility preservation for young adult women with breast or cervical/pelvic cancers.  The material in the course is helpful for information on the science and reproductive technology, as well as organizational concerns and team-building to create a more effective service.  It has been thought provoking to me regarding what I can do to improve identification of patients that may be at risk of fertility loss and forming effective working relationships with nearby institutions that do offer REI.
