Hi everyone – This is James Klosky, ECHO’s resident psychologist and training resource for the cognitive, behavioral and psychological features of fertility-preservation, medical decision-making, adaptation to fertility outcomes, family functioning, and any other psychosocial issues experienced by our patients. Across the course of ECHO’s curriculum, we will have a variety of opportunities to interact with each other via mechanisms such as “Ask the Expert”, Synchronous Discussions, this Discussion Board, and in your reactions to the video Modules. I (along with the rest of the ECHO team) are very excited to have you participate in this special training program, and I’m looking forward to working with you over the next several months!

Hi, Thanks for this opportunity to learn about Oncology-psychological issues that are very important in this population. I am a licensed psychologist at Florida. I will like to expand my knowledge in this topic to consider in a near future working at a Cancer Center. Currently, I am working at Assisting Living Facilities and Rehabilitation Facilities. I am excited to start this program. Looking forward to working with you. Thanks for your time

Hello Dr. Klosky, Thank you for your synchronous discussion post and your psycho-oncology expertise. I am currently a pediatric psychology fellow in pediatric hematology/oncology and have learned a tremendous amount from this program that I can apply in my embedded position in Cancer Survivorship Clinic and on the inpatient floors.
